GENERAL MANAGER

Darren has a degree in Construction Science from Texas A&M University, and over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. He has built everything from small bathroom makeovers to whole house remodels of multi-million dollar properties to roads, dams, bridges, high rises and almost everything in between.

He brings extensive construction knowledge with a background in design to every project we deliver here at Brasstacks.

ELAINE MACEK

LEAD DESIGNER

Elaine has spent the last 8 years at Brasstacks Design + Build helping our clients transform their homes through thoughtful and personalized design. She graduated with a degree in Interior Design from Kansas State University where she gained a strong foundation in space-planning, problem-solving, and human centered design. She enjoys collaborating closely with clients to reimagine their homes by guiding them from the initial concept through the final details. For Elaine, great design is more than just aesthetics.

It is about creating spaces that enrich everyday life and are as functional as they are beautiful.

JESSICA LIMA

OFFICE COORDINATOR

Jessica supports the day-to-day operations at Brasstacks, helping keep the many details behind each project organized and moving forward. From client communication and administrative support to project coordination, she helps connect the pieces that keep both the team and projects on track.

She also supports Brasstacks’ marketing and client care, helping ensure clients feel informed and cared for throughout their experience while sharing the work and stories behind the spaces we create.

AJ VANDERWIEDE

PROJECT MANAGER

As a second-generation builder, AJ has grown up in the construction industry. He has experience with various trades through high school and college, and he has been project managing for fifteen years and has done everything from duplexes to large custom houses and commercial spaces. His extensive knowledge of building codes and connections throughout the industry make him a great resource.

PROJECT MANAGER

Tim also comes to us as a second-generation builder. He brings a wealth of building science knowledge and understanding of how to schedule, coordinate and accelerate projects for on-time and on-budget delivery.
